Refund Policy
Applies to Data Engineering Insight workshops, labs, intensives, mentorship blocks, and related coaching calls. It does not cover products or delivery models we do not offer (no physical merchandise shop, no subscription software, no managed trading accounts).
Eligibility overview
Refunds depend on how far preparation or delivery has progressed, whether materials were issued, and whether you cancel or reschedule within the windows below. Website prices are informational; the invoice and enrolment confirmation control the amount paid.
Full refund
You may request a full refund if you cancel in writing (email is sufficient) at least seven (7) days before the first scheduled session and we have not yet issued cohort materials or begun personal chart review. Deposits held only to reserve a seat are returned in full under the same condition.
Partial refund
If you cancel fewer than seven days before start but before the first live session, we may refund the amount paid minus an administrative fee of up to twenty percent (20%) of the invoiced fee to cover scheduling and preparation. If one or more sessions have already run, fees for completed sessions are non-refundable; unused future sessions in a multi-week mentorship may be refunded on a pro-rata basis at our discretion when notice is given at least forty-eight (48) hours before the next call.
Non-refundable items
- Sessions already delivered (workshop days, labs, mentorship calls held).
- Digital materials already released to you (checklists, recordings, chart packs).
- Personal chart reviews already completed and returned.
- No-shows for a scheduled session without timely rescheduling (see below).
Cancellation
Email hello@dataengineeringinsight.digital with your full name, programme name, and payment date. Cancellation is effective when we acknowledge receipt.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule a live session once without fee if you notify us at least twenty-four (24) hours before the start. Further reschedules may incur an administrative fee or require moving to a later cohort. If we must reschedule, you may accept the new date or receive a refund for undelivered sessions.
Deposits
When a deposit reserves a limited cohort seat, it is applied to the final invoice. Deposits become non-refundable within seven days of the start date unless we cancel the programme.
No-shows
Missing a session without twenty-four hours’ notice forfeits that session’s portion of the fee. Mentorship no-shows may not be rebooked in the same week.
Work already started & purchased materials
Preparation time, annotated reviews, and issued materials count as work already started. We do not sell separate physical kits; any printing you arrange is your cost and is not reimbursable.
Refund process, timing & method
Send refund requests to hello@dataengineeringinsight.digital or call +81 66-983-7191. We confirm eligibility within five (5) business days. Approved refunds are returned within ten (10) business days via the original payment method when possible, otherwise by bank transfer to details you provide.
Exceptions
If we cancel a programme permanently, you receive a full refund of amounts paid for undelivered training. Force majeure events may lead to postponed dates or proportional refunds by mutual agreement without penalty fees.
